Ask yourself a question: what was the ROI - return on investment - for those who bought lands or apartments early in the city's development.

When it comes to Playa Del Carmen, I can only speculate, but I personally know that land bought on the road between Tulum and Coba ruins in 2018 is now priced 10x to 20x higher.

Tulum is just starting and still is a very small settlement. A one-bedroom apartment priced at USD75,000.00 to USD100,000.00 brings on average $1,600.00-&2,000.00 per month in revenue through renting. The apartment itself will be priced much higher just a few years from now.
